Kelli Powers Word - Present Rodeo Cowgirl Great
1985 Badlands Circuit WPRA Champion; Two-time SD High School Rodeo All-Around Cowgirl; National High School Rodeo Champion.  Four-time Great Plains Indian Rodeo Champion & Two-time Great Plains College Regional Winner & NIRA qualifier.  Currently, raises, trains & markets quality arena horses.
Tom Reeves - Present Rodeo Cowboy Great
8th in the World Year-End Standing Saddle Bronc - 1997.  Qualified for the NFR 13 times 1985-1997.  2nd in the World for 1998.  NFR Average Winner in 1993. Both SD & National High School Rodeo Champion in 1980 & 1982.  Eagle Butte, SD cowboy.
Jim Thompson - Rodeo Promoter
South Dakota's own "Voice of Rodeo" - Rodeo Announcer.  Radio & television personality, who markets rodeo on a full-time basis.  Promoter of rodeo, the contestants of rodeo & the western way of life on a state & national level.
Ancel Tibbs & the memory of Esther Tibbs - Ranch Cowboy Family
Older brother of Casey, Ancel & his family lived the Cowboy Life on the Tibbs homestead near Fort Pierre.  A local Rodeo contestant, Ancel was 3rd in the NRCA - 1978 in Old Man's Breakaway; 2nd in NRCA - 1982; & 6th in team roping in Rope the Rockies in Denver, CO - 1996. Ancel & Esther were noted for their love of community & rodeo & support of a neighbor or friend in need.
