| Terrance Etzkorn - Past
Rodeo Great Terrance's rodeo career spanned several decades. PRCA gold card holder, he began his rodeo career in the early 50s, often traveling to major pro rodeos with Casey Tibbs. Former SDRA Bareback and Saddle Bronc Champion, Terrance rode all over the Midwest picking up checks in the bronc riding arena until nearly 60 years of age. A true friend and a cowboy through and through, Terrance now mentors young people with ranching and rodeo interests. |
| Bunny Burghduff Bail -
Rodeo Cowgirl Great Harding County native, Bunny holds many college (NIRA) rodeo, SDRA, NRCA, and NPRA titles. 1981 and 1982 Big Sky NIRA Region All Around, Breakaway and Goat Tying Champion. 1984, '85, and '86 SDRA All Around Champion cowgirl. 1985 NRCA All Around Cowgirl. 1988 NPRA and SDRA Breakaway Champion. Bunny started rodeoing at age 8. She has always trained her own horses. Bunny is a well known face at the barrel futurities. She trains barrel horses that are good minded and can do all the arena events. Currently, Bunny trains horses and helps a lot of young people in their rodeo careers. |
| Red Lemmel - Rodeo Cowboy
Great Veteran rodeo competitor, Red is currently 18th in the World in the Saddle Bronc Riding vying for a berth at the 2000 NFR. An All Around Cowboy, Lemmel has previously qualified for 2 NFRs. Badlands Circuit Finals qualifier for 15 years in a row, Red qualified 5 times in the Bull Riding and twice in the Team Roping in addition to qualifying nearly every year in the Bronc Riding. His circuit titles include: 2 Time Average Winner in the Bronc Riding, Circuit Finals Saddle Bronc Champion, and 1996 All Around Cowboy. Red is currently the Saddle Bronc Director for the PRCA. 2000 Saddle Bronc Champion at the Copenhagen Cup Winter Series. |
| Don Hight Family - Rodeo
Promoter The Don Hight Family has produced rodeos and raised bucking stock since 1949. PRCA stock contractor card holder for 25 years. Friend and promoter of rodeo, Don frequently partnered with Casey Tibbs in rodeo or Wild West ventures. The Hights provided horses and buffalo for Casey's Wild West Show and Rodeos in Japan in 1973. The Hights continue to ranch and raise bucking bulls and horses. |
| The Colombe Family - Ranch
Cowboy Family The Colombe family has lived and ranched in the Rosebud Reservation area since before history was recorded. The nine children of Mervyn and Vesta all have ranching interests and are involved in promoting rodeo and the western way of life. Family members are actively involved in supporting and strengthening the communities they live in. The Colombe family includes brothers and sisters: Charlie, George (Tuck), Patti Mench, Bob, Elaine Jones, Barbara Bordeaux, Richard (Skinny), Jim and Wayne and their families. |
