| Lonnie Hall - Past Rodeo Great Two time National Finals Rodeo qualifier in the bareback riding, 1977 and 1978. Lonnie was a consistent competitor staying in the top 20 in the world for 8 years. He was the National College Champion Bull Rider in 1969. Lonnie and wife, Linda, are currently in the cattle and horse business in western South Dakota. |
| Theresa Humphry - Rodeo Cowgirl
Great Theresa was the first South Dakota cowgirl to qualify for the National Finals Rodeo. She qualified in the barrel racing in 1961. She was a National College Rodeo All Around Champion in 1956 and 1957, and is a 40-year WPRA card holder. Theresa is a Rosebud Sioux Tribe member. An accomplished horsewoman, Theresa has ridden and trained barrel horses, cutting horses, reining horses, and race horses. |
| Ivan Teigen - Present Rodeo Cowboy
Great Six-time National Finals Rodeo qualifier in the steer wrestling, NFR Average winner in 1990, three-time Badland Circuit Champion, two-time Montana Circuit winner, South Dakota High School Champion bareback rider and steer wrestler, Ivan has won most of the major rodeos, including Cheyenne Frontier Days twice, Denver Stock Show, Houston, Fort Worth twice, Reno and Greeley. He continues to rodeo professionally. |
| Duane Reichert - Rodeo Promoter Duane has traveled over one million times to promote the sport of rodeo. Since age 18, he has performed as a rodeo clown and barrelman for audiences all over 44 states and 4 Canadian provinces. "Dr. Ben Krazy" and "Pony Baroni" were trademarks that brought laughter to rodeo spectators of all ages. He continues to bring important messages to youth as an artist in the schools, encouraging education and a drug-free lifestyle. |
| Warren & Donna Melvin - Ranch
Cowboy Family The Melvins have ranched and rodeoed all their lives. Donna trick rode and helped produce rodeos. Warren rodeoed competitively in both rough stock and timed events. All three children: Monte, Marty and Michel Lesa excelled in the rodeo arena from 4-H and High School to professional ranks. All family members continue to mentor youngsters in the sport of rodeo. |
