The first Casey Tibbs Foundation Tribute Dinner was held in honor of Casey Tibbs and his accomplishments in rodeo, movies and television.  This annual event serves as a fund-raiser and to honor other people in the rodeo world and their accomplishments in the following five categories:

  • Past Rodeo Great

  • Present Rodeo Cowgirl Great

  • Present Rodeo Cowboy Great

  • Rodeo Promoter

  • Ranch Cowboy Family - this category was added realizing that rodeo first got its start with cowhands on local ranches challenging each other with their riding and roping skills.

The Casey Tibbs Foundation accepts nominations for this honor from the public and the Board of Director votes on those nominees.  The Honorees are recognized at the annual tribute dinner.
